Back in 1963, the hotel made its debut in Mayfair and became the inaugural Hilton property to open in the United Kingdom. London Hilton on Park Lane is a luxury hotel located on Park Lane in the Mayfair district of London. It is known for its prime location, luxurious amenities, and stunning views of Hyde Park and the city skyline.
The hotel staff is exceptionally amiable and accommodating. During check-in, they kindly offered me a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
Thanks to my Diamond status, I received an upgrade to a King Executive room, which boasts a spacious layout and a picturesque view overlooking Hyde Park. Additionally, this room includes access to the Executive Lounge.
The Executive Lounge operates throughout the day and offers complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails.
The menu at the Executive Lounge rotates daily, featuring a diverse range of tapas and canapés.
Due to the ongoing renovation of the hotel, breakfast is currently being served on the first floor.
Despite the change in location for breakfast, guests can still enjoy a view of Hyde Park during their meal.
For those seeking an exceptional dining experience with panoramic views of London, the award-winning Galvin at Windows restaurant on the 28th floor is a must-visit. The restaurant offers 360° views of the city skyline and serves seasonally-inspired modern British cuisine, making it a truly unique culinary destination.
Unfortunately, Trader Vic, the lively Polynesian Tiki bar and restaurant, has closed its doors.
In summary, my stay was excellent. The hotel's prime location was a definite highlight, and the quality of both the food and service were exceptional. I am eager to return for another stay in the near future.
